A simple ‘Copy’ (or ‘Cut’) and Paste operation in VS 2010 leads to an ‘Out of Memory’ error. While this doesn’t lock Visual Studio, it prevents you from copying and pasting in your source files – and is annoying enough that one DOES need to shut the IDE down and restart it. So – it is almost as bad as an IDE crash in my opinion.
